2012 in Review...

Ohhhhhhh....,

Christmas Tree,

O, Christmas Tree,

How

Lovely

Are

Your

Ornaments!!!

2012 has been a blur of painting craze!  It ended with a bang as The Peanut Paintshop was transformed into Ornament Central.  There were many other happenings, but these were the crowd favorites for sure.

Loved every minute!  Thank you, dear friends, family and those I have only met through Pinterest, Facebook or email for keeping the creativity flowing.

It's been a blast.

I will be accepting new orders starting January 1st.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

And just for kicks...a few other favorites from 2012:

Name and a Verse

There has been a recent request for Names and Verses.
What a great way to add a meaningful, personal touch!

One really nice mom ordered these for her 4 kid's teachers!

If I had 4 kids, their teachers would probably get something regifted from me:)
I can barely keep up with 2 teachers.

I had the freedom to choose the colors, which was fun.
Sometimes (not often) I prefer muted colors, but for a school?
Bring on the brightness!

And we can't forget our MEN!

Thank you, teachers for giving your best for our kiddos.

And thank you, really sweet mom who ordered these for her kids' educators.
You rock.

Teacher canvases are available for individual order or bulk orders.
Discounts available for school purchases when ordering over 20 canvases.

Hayden and Harper

Twin girls.
Can you imagine?
The bows. The pink.
40 nails to paint?  It would be so fun.
Just like painting these canvases.
Pure FUN.

H names are cool, huh?
H names for girls that could also be boy names are even cooler.

Birds are cool, too.
(Except for those unbelievably vile ones that eat roadkill.)

So is Pottery Barn Kid's Penelope bedding, which was the inspiration for these canvases.
Thank you PBK for always hitting it out of the park for us.

I thought about keeping these for myself.

But who wants to be the old lady who lived in the shoe who had so many boys she didn't know what to do, so she kept girl paintings in her home just to see something pink that wasn't her own?

Not me.

So, Harper and Hayden, enjoy your fun, girly paintings!

Spring Has (Almost) Sprung!

I walked outside the other day and saw my black car coated in a nice blanket of pollen.  Seriously.

So, I thought..."Need to get my Nasonex refilled."

And then I thought...

"Time to paint for EASTER!"

It may only be February, but by the looks of the things around me (i.e. Cadbury mini eggs...can I get a witness???), it's time for:

SpRiNg

I'm so ready for the lively colors of this season...

Just perfect for celebrating Easter.

Christmas 2011...A Month Late:(

Holy Moly.
No blog in almost 6 months.
That's a new slacker record for me!!!

Except, thanks to YOU, I haven't really been slack!
I am so appreciative for every single order from every one of you.  To be able to "work" from home and do something so fun and creative is such a blessing to me.  So, thank you!!!  Thank you for making 2011 the busiest and most fun year for The Peanut Paintshop.  I hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year!  Here's to a great 2012!

The Peanut Paintshop wasn't busy just with painting.
That's right...we had added another little peanut to our family.
A boy peanut.  The third boy peanut.

Meet precious Charlie:

He is such a blessing to our family.  We are thankful for every moment we have with his sweet self.
And he's just a little bit cute:)

Onto the paintings!

The #1 seller for Christmas 2011:

ORNAMENTS!

Thanks to Pinterest, the Christmas 2010 designs were on high demand, but I got a request to change things up a bit and gave them some extra flair:

The ornaments were so much fun to paint...

And then a last minute order came in, and we did something a little different again!

The possibilities are endless.  Can't wait until Christmas 2012!

(And sorry for the terrible lighting in the photo.  Like most of the Christmas orders, they were completed in the late hours of the night and either didn't get photographed or got a cruddy photograph like this one...ugh.)

Thank you again for making 2011 the best year yet.  Bring it on for 2012!
